The Tourist Image Questions

To create the image "The Tourist" Stephen Mcnally had to do many things. First he needed to capture an image of a busy area. The then broke the photograph into smaller photographs based on detail. From there he edited each section based on depiction. This included altering the images clarity, color, focus, size, location, and more. By doing so the image appears lively and draws attention to many aspects of its contents. I think the composition includes at least 30 different photographs (at least, it is hard to get an accurate count) of the same photograph. Due to the varying lighting, I would say the photographs may have been taken at different parts of the day in the same area. One obvious photoshop enhancement includes the grainy appearance of some images in addition to what I have previously mentioned.
